Umrah packages from the UAE

Umrah from the United Arab Emirates is the shortest journey we arrange, and it is the one most often taken over a long weekend. The flights, the hotels in Makkah and Madinah, the visa, the transfers and the train are arranged in one conversation, with prices read live and shown to you in dirhams.

Where we fly you from

Dubai (DXB), Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Sharjah (SHJ). If you are flying from Al Maktoum, Ras Al Khaimah or Al Ain, say so and we will ticket you from there.

What the journey looks like

Flights from the Emirates into Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED) are short and frequent, which makes a three or four-night Umrah genuinely workable as well as the longer journey. You fly into one city and home from the other, or return the way you came if your dates are tight. Ihram is entered before the meeqat, which the crew announce on the approach into Jeddah. A vehicle meets you at the airport, and the move between the two cities is usually the Haramain train, roughly two to two and a half hours, with the station transfers included.

What is included

  • Return flights
  • Hotel nights in Makkah and in Madinah
  • The Umrah visa and the mandatory insurance issued with it
  • Airport transfers, and the move between the two cities by Haramain train or private vehicle
  • Guided Ziyarah, where your package includes it

Meals and gifts are personal spending on top unless your package says otherwise. Every package document lists what it holds, line by line, so nothing is assumed.

Your visa

GCC residents have a simpler path than most travellers, and the exact rule depends on your nationality and on your residency status, so we confirm the current position for your passport before booking rather than assuming it. Citizens of eligible countries enter on the Saudi eVisa, the tourist visa, on which Umrah is lawful outside the Hajj season; other passports take the dedicated Umrah visa. Passports generally need at least six months validity, and meningococcal ACWY vaccination is the standard requirement. Full detail is on the Umrah visa page.

Where you will stay

A plan for a guest from the Emirates opens at a four or five-star hotel within walking distance of the Haram, because that is what most guests here ask for. It is a starting point and never a ceiling: ask for the cheapest room on the street and that is what you will be shown, with one honest line about the walk it costs. Every hotel is named, with its distance from the Haram.

Paying from the UAE

Bookings from the Emirates are paid in full, due within three days, by card through our checkout or by bank transfer with the proof uploaded on your own package page. Instalments are a Pakistan option only.

Short trips, Ramadan and repeat Umrah

The Emirates are close enough that many guests come back more than once in a year. Two things are worth knowing before you plan a short trip in a busy season: during Ramadan and peak weeks the authorities may limit repeat Umrahs to once per period per person through Nusuk, so check the app's current policy; and Ramadan hotel bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable once made.

Start your plan

Tell us the city you fly from, how many of you are travelling, when you want to go and how many nights you have. That is the whole checklist, and the package is built from live prices while you wait.
