Umrah Companions uses information you provide in chat to build your trip checklist and answer your planning questions.

Approximate network location

On hosted versions, our server may receive an approximate city, region, country and timezone based on your public IP address. We use it only to suggest a possible departure city. It may be inaccurate, and the checklist is not updated until you confirm your actual departure point.

How the IP is handled

We do not save a readable IP address or send it to the AI provider. The server creates a one-way keyed fingerprint and stores that fingerprint with coarse location, browser identifier and visit timestamps for service continuity and abuse prevention.

Your chat and account

Signed-in users may save chat messages and trip details to their Supabase account. Row-level security limits account records to their owner. Server-only keys are never included in browser code.

Packages you upload

When you upload another agent's package, the file is kept in private storage that only our staff can open, and every time a member of staff opens it is logged. To read it, its contents are sent to an AI service that reads documents for us: Groq for photos and screenshots, DeepSeek for the text of a PDF. It sends the details back as text, which we store with your upload so our team can compare the package with our own rates.

Your name, WhatsApp number and email are saved as an enquiry so our team can reply. If you leave "Send me Umrah offers" unticked, we do not send you marketing emails. Please cover passport numbers and payment details before you upload.
