    16) How can I travel back and forth between King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah and the Grand Mosque in Makkah?

    A.

    Trip Schedule: 

    Trips depart from King Abdulaziz International Airport (Terminal 1), every two hours
    From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

     

    Trips depart from the Grand Holy Mosque every two hours
    From 12:00 PM (noon) to 12:00 AM

    Who will benefit from this service?
    Pilgrims with Umrah reservation from Nusuk or Tawakkalna app, for both domestic and international pilgrim visitors.

    This newly launched service will result in:

    • Facilitating the transportation of Pilgrims
    • Diversifying transportation options for pilgrims at the airport




    Which vaccines / immunizations do I need to have in order to perform Hajj in 2023?

    Mandatory immunizations:

    • Corona Virus Covid-19
    • It is required for all those wishing to perform Hajj to complete immunization with vaccines approved in the Kingdom.Neisseria meningitis
    • All adults and children wishing to perform the Hajj or to be present in the Hajj areas for any other purpose, aged one year or older, must present a valid vaccination certificate proving receipt of the quadruple meningitis vaccine (ACYW) prior to coming to the Hajj areas at least (10) days.
      Vaccination is accepted with one of the following vaccines:
      • The quadruple polysaccharide (ACYW) vaccine, provided that the period since receiving the vaccine does not exceed (3) years
      • Quadruple conjugate (ACYW) vaccine, provided that the period since receiving the vaccine does not exceed (5) years
      • Scientific evidence indicates that the conjugate vaccine is effective and safe for those over 55 years of age.
      • The health authority in the country from which the pilgrim or Umrah pilgrim is coming from must make sure that he receives the vaccine at the specified time and clearly writes the name of the vaccine used and the date it was given in the vaccination certificate. Note that if the type of quadrivalent vaccine is not specified in the immunization certificate, the validity period of the vaccination certificate is considered to be three years from the date of taking the vaccine.
    • poliomyelitis
      • Those coming from countries in which wild poliovirus or vaccine-derived poliovirus is circulating are required to present a valid vaccination certificate proving that they have received at least one dose of bivalent oral polio vaccine (Bopv) or inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) within a period of time. Not less than (4) weeks and not more than (12) months before coming to the Kingdom.
      • Those coming from countries with vaccine-derived poliovirus (Cvdpv2) are required to present a valid vaccination certificate stating that they have received at least one dose of inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) for a period of not less than (4) weeks and not more than (12) weeks. months before coming to the Kingdom.
    • yellow fever

    All arrivals over (9) months of age from countries and regions where yellow fever is common are required to present a valid vaccination certificate proving that they have received the yellow fever vaccine before their arrival in the Kingdom. Note that the yellow fever vaccination certificate becomes valid 10 days after receiving the vaccine and its validity extends for the life
